Welcome To My Physical Education Page!
My name is Mr. Robertstad and I am the Physical Education teacher at Bowie Elementary School. I am originally from Madison, Wisconsin. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Physical Education), a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Southern California (Physical Education / Motor Learning), and credits towards a Doctorate in Education from the University of California- Berkeley. I have been teaching physical education for over 20 years, all in the Corsicana ISD. I have taught at Drane Middle School, Carroll (Lincoln) Elementary School, Sam Houston Elementary School, and currently at Bowie Elementary School. Prior to coming to Corsicana, I coached football at the college level for 10 years. I am certified by the state of Texas to teach Physical Education (K-12) and Health (9-12). I am a certified lifeguard, CPR/ First Aid Instructor, Angler Education Instructor, Boater Education Instructor, and Archery in the Schools Instructor.
