Dear cadets, this is the first time in my almost 21 years to have to miss school due to a virus.  I hope all of you are doing well.  Please contact me if I can be of any help.  Hopefully this whole thing will be over or at least under control soon.  Please plan on the Cadet Leadership Course for June to still go on.  I am planning for it.  Remember this, if you are getting bored, tell yourself that you refuse to be borded.  Find something constructive to do like reading a good book.  Be safe and hope to see you all soon.  Don't forget our awards ceremony on 15 May 2020.

            Jackson

Cadet Colonel Jackson Hilmes 2018/2019 Fall Semester Corps Commander.

Jackson was one of the 150 selected around the nation to attend Flight Academy this past summer.  Jackson chose Purdue University as the academy he would attend. He graduated with his pilot’s license on 4 August 2018.

This program gave Jackson and the other cadets around the nation a $20.000.00 scholarship to attend.

Lt col Mackey and Master Sergeant Hardie both are extremely proud of his accomplishment.

Dear cadets and parents, I really do care about my students in class and outside of class.  I want them to have the greatest experience possible while in high school.  Too much time is wasted by both our male and female cadets worrying about girlfriends and boyfriends. Under "Forms  for Cadets" you will find a cool article titled, "10 Reason You Don't Need A Boyfriend or Girlfriend In High School."  Check it out! It really is true. Having friends yes, but you don't need the extra stress and drama that goes along with these type of relationships. Again, check the article out.

"Start strong and finish strong."  What that means is if you start off doing all you can to be the best you can be, don't get lazy just because you have been doing it for a while. In other words, be a great cadet from first year to last year.  Don't be that person who thinks they can rest on past accomplishments.
