Dear Parents,
Welcome to first grade at Navarro Elementary! I am so excited to have your student in my class. I am looking forward to working with you and your student this year. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Nicole Horn. I graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce. My degree is in Elementary Education, early childhood-sixth grade. This will be my second year teaching first grade as well as my second year at Navarro Elementary.
Everyday your child will bring home a daily folder. Please sign the folder EVERYDAY! Every Tuesday, I will send home a Tuesday Folder with all daily and graded papers. Please sign the graded papers and send them back with your child the next day.
My conference time will be Monday-Friday from 9:50-10:45 a.m. If you need to contact me, my email is nhorn@cisd.org and the school's number is 903-874-1011. If you call the school I will do my best to reply or call you back the same day. The best way to reach me is through Class Dojo.
