Corsicana ISD Inspires Educators from other School Districts
Two school districts, Jasper ISD and Junction ISD, sent groups of teachers and administrators to visit Corsicana ISD on Monday. Twenty-five visitors, led by the CISD Curriculum Department, visited campuses and classrooms to observe CISD teacher intervention and enrichment activities with students as well as classroom instruction.
“Our teachers are doing amazing work with students. It’s nice to be recognized by peers from other districts who want to observe and learn from our outstanding staff,” said Kim Holcomb, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction.
“The visitors were impressed with our teachers and the students they observed,” said Holcomb. “This is the perfect example of teachers inspiring teachers.”
CISD Superintendent Dr. Diane Frost remarked, “I am proud of our District and the work our teachers do every day. We will continue to strive for success in everything we do.”
