I am a 2011 graduate from Texas A&M University- Commerce with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6, 4-8 ELAR  with ESL certification.

 This is my fourth year as a Navarro Elementary teacher and I currently teach first grade. 

 

   I am a mother of three girls, Katy is 19, and graduated from CHS in 2019, Bailey is a Junior, and Samantha is in 8th grade. We are very busy with Theater and FFA. Samantha shows lambs,pids, and both Samantha and Bailey show rabbits, so Spring is very busy for us!

 

   I love reading novels in my free time as well as drinking hot tea on rainy days. My favorite colors are shades of blues, grays, and torqouise.  I love cactus, succulents, cats, Willow Tree ornaments, and enjoy watching Friends in my freetime.  I like to shop at the stores on Beaton, Amazon, Mardel, and on Teacher Pay Teachers. My favorite places to eat are Olive Garden, Taco Cabana, Starbucks and Sonic! My absolute favorite drink from sonic is a Large Water with extra Ice and Strawberries!! (YUM)

   Our classroom has a library that is always growing and a group of children who love to engage in reading, so please take advantage of our monthly Scholastic Reading Club to help build your home library. Some books cost as little as $1.00 each month!
