Meet Mr. Johnson

  • Hello! My name is Cody Johnson and I am the librarian for Bowie Elementary. It is an honor to be in charge of my favorite place in the whole school...The Library! I have been with the district for 20 years as a classroom teacher and a campus technician, and I love my current role as campus library facilitator. I hope your child enjoys the library and all the resources it has to offer. You can contact me here at Bowie (903-872-6541) or via email at cjohnson3@cisd.org.

I was extremely humbled to be awarded Teacher of The Year in 2018-19.

When I am not at school, I love to play music! Right now I am teaching myself how to play the banjo, fiddle, and bass. I also enjoy playing board games with my family and friends. If I get quiet time at the end of the day, I love to read, too!
