This project generates a deeper understanding of the expression of art.  The students will gain a basic knowledge of the 7 Elements of Art and explore background information on 4 artists from the past and the styles of their art.  They will also examine how the artist created their masterpieces and developed their own styles.  Their project will culminate in a presentation and art show where students will share art expertise and showcase their expressions of art.   

Students have been tasked with planning the perfect camping adventure.  Each group will have to carefully purchase food and equipment while staying within an assigned budget.  They will have to measure their camping equipment to design and create a campsite layout.  Each group will practice telling time as they plan their daily itinerary.  They will participate in a scavenger hunt to gather data and record fractions about different animals they see on the hike.  Camping is so fun!
