The students will design and build a 3D version of a treehouse for an amusement park.  This activity focuses on designing elements, using multiple problem solving skills, and collaborating in the classroom.  They will develop a deep understanding for all of the necessary things to consider when managing a business.  The students will research, budget supplies, create job positions, and use critical thinking skills to become a master builder.  

Students will learn the engineering and design process while studying the moon, humans and their roles in the Solar System.  Students will be given a set of challenges created to help them experience how engineers must “imagine and plan” before they begin to build and experiment.  The challenges will investigate what modes of transportation are possible, and how humans might live and work on the moon.  Should we shoot for the moon?
