My name is Ericka Smith. I am the full time Registered Nurse at Collins Intermediate. I have been an RN for 11 years now. Prior to joining the school district I was a bedside nurse at Children's Medical Center Dallas in the Pediatric Intenisive Unit for 5 years and an additional 2 years as a PICU Case Manager. January 2017 I joined the school district as the Intermediate School Nurse. 

I am a proud graduate from CHS and I bleed Blue and Gold!! I love being apart of one of the greatest school districts around. We have amazing teachers, staff, administrators, and without doubt the best students! #TCC 

My goal as your school nurse is to provide a safe environment where students concerns regarding their health are heard.  After fully accessing each situation, appropriate follow-up is implemented using sound medical judgement. For us at Collins Intermediate we believe a "Healthy Campus is a Happy Campus". I look forward to caring for each of you!
