What are our expectations of you as a cadet in the TX-952 Corps of Cadets? To be the best you can be. How do you do that? By being a good example all the time. As General George Patton once said, "You are always on parade". What goes on at a parade? People are watching as you pass by. So, in life, as we are passing through, people are watching. People will very seldom remember what you say but they will always remember what you do. It's like the old saying, a picture is worth a thousand words and your actions speak louder than words.
I want you to work hard in all of your classes. Remember, our mission in AFJROTC is to develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community. Citizens of good character are educated and informed. Now is the time to prepare - not years down the road when you might be looking back with regret.
I expect your best everyday because I will give you my best everyday. This will not change - for my part anyway. You control you - no one else does.
