Title 1, Part A

The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) provide funding to help schools with high concentrations of students from low-income families by providing a high-quality education that will enable all children to meet the state's student performance standards. The Corsicana ISD has nine campuses identified as Tie I, Part A School-wide campuses which use effective methods and instructional strategies that are grounded in scientifically based research. 

Title 2, Part A

The Teacher, Principal Training and Recruiting Funds provide supplemental funding to improve student achievement. The funds are used to elevate teacher and principal quality through recruitment, hiring and retention strategies and to increase the number of highly qualified teachers in the classroom and highly qualified principals and assistant principals in schools. The program uses scientifically based professional development interventions and holds districts and schools accountable for improvements in student academic performance. 

Title 3, Part A - EL

Title III, Part A aims to ensure that English language learners and immigrant students attain English language proficiency and meet the same challenging State academic content and student academic achievement standards as all children are expected to meet. It serves as a supplement to Tile I, Part A funding. 

Title 4, Part A

Title IV, Part A aims to provide students with a well-rounded education, support safe and healthy students, and support the effective use of technology.
