Paced by freshman Jackson McMath, the Corsicana High School boys golf team finished third at the Texas Torah Institute Tournament at Lake Arlington Golf Course recently.
McMath shot an 88 and finished as the 10th medalist. He was seven strokes off the lead. Other Tiger scores included Blane Farmer and Logan Gruver with 94s, Gabe Sodd at 95, and Jacob McSpadden at 98. The course was long and tough, Coach Andy Dotson said.
As a team, the Tigers placed third behind tournament winner Richardson Pearce and Wylie East.
