The holiday break was no break at all for the Tigers boys basketball team, as they squared off with two undefeated teams and a former Class 6A team.  

Early in the week, the Tigers fell 59-46 to Wills Point. It was the closest game to date for 4-0 Wills Point after wins of 23, 20, and 22 points. 

The Tigers then faced 4-0 North Forney, which averaged winning by 24.6 points per game in its previous three outings. In a 55-32 loss, Damarion Kelly led a balanced scoring attack with 8 points. Eight Tigers scored in the game, with Javon Betts and Derrick Nathan adding 5 each. 

The break week ended with a 64-40 loss to former 6A John Tyler. Keyone Holt had three three-pointers on his way to a 12-point outing to lead the Tigers. Nathan added three three-pointers and finished with 9 points. 

The Tigers are at home Tuesday against Burleson.

Las vacaciones navideñas no fueron descanso para el equipo de baloncesto masculino de los Tigres, ya que se enfrentaron con dos equipos invictos y un ex equipo de Clase 6A. 

A principios de semana, los Tigres cayeron 59-46 ante Wills Point. Fue el juego más cerrado hasta la fecha para Wills Point 4-0 después de victorias de 23, 20 y 22 puntos. 

Los Tigres luego se enfrentaron 4-0 a North Forney, que promedió ganar por 24.6 puntos por juego en sus tres salidas anteriores.
