A stroll through the halls of Corsicana High School will put you in the holiday spirit, guaranteed. Classes and departments decorated doors, and winners of a campus-wide contest were recognized this morning.
The winner was in Hall D, the Deaf Ed North Pole themed door. It included elves with faces of the administration inset.
Finishing in a close second was Turning Points, which took advantage of a short hallway decked with blue walls, snowflakes and snowmen faces. All of D Hall and the Career and Technical Education (CTE) building drew special notices for their team efforts.
Finishing in third was Kristie Elmore’s F Hall game of "Operation Merry Christmas.” The tiger on the operating table had a number of things to extract, including “Christmas Cheer” (heart), “Live as One to the Bone,” and “Jingle Toes.”
Congrats to the winners, but also congratulations to all of the teachers, students, and departments who got in the spirit this season!

Un paseo por los pasillos de la Preparatoria de Corsicana te pondrá en el espíritu navideño, garantizado. Las clases y los departamentos decoraron las puertas y los ganadores de un concurso en todo el campus fueron reconocidos esta mañana.
El ganador fue en el pasillo D, la puerta temática del Polo Norte de Deaf Ed. Incluía duendes con caras de la administración.
El segundo clasificado fue Turning Points, que aprovechó un corto pasillo decorado con paredes azules, copos de nieve y rostros de muñecos de nieve. Todo el pasillo D y el edificio de Educación Técnica y Profesional (CTE) recibieron una mención especial por su trabajo en equipo.
En tercer lugar quedó el juego "Operación Feliz Navidad" de Kristie Elmore, del pasillo F. El tigre en la mesa de operaciones tenía varias cosas para extraer, incluyendo "Alegría navideña" (corazón), "Live as One to the Bone" y "Jingle Toes".
¡Felicitaciones a los ganadores, pero también felicitaciones a todos los maestros, estudiantes y departamentos que han mostrado su espíritu navideño.
