The Corsicana High School varsity basketball teams split a pair of district games in Ennis Tuesday, with the Lady Tigers winning 45-36. The Tigers fell, 69-40. 

Aaliyah Mathis led the Lady Tigers with 26 points. Roynyia Coleman added nine, Josslyn Turner had seven and Neveah Thomas scored three. The Lady Tigers improved to 1-2 in District 14-5A, and 13-11 overall. The team won nine games a year ago. 

Kameron Mize had 11 points and Damarion Kelly added 10 for the Tigers. JJ Betts had five points, and LJ Williams had a team-high five rebounds to go along with four points.

Los equipos varsity de baloncesto de la Preparatoria de Corsicana dividieron un par de juegos del distrito en Ennis el martes, con Lady Tigers ganando 45-36. Los Tigres cayeron, 69-40. 

Aaliyah Mathis lideró a las Lady Tigers con 26 puntos. Roynyia Coleman agregó nueve, Josslyn Turner tuvo siete y Neveah Thomas anotó tres. Las Lady Tigers mejoraron a 1-2 en el Distrito 14-5A y 13-11 en general. El equipo ganó nueve partidos hace un año.
