Casey Gordon has gone from not knowing what a data dashboard was to a data fellow to now espousing data knowledge to the masses, all in about a year. The Corsicana ISD rookie data analyst was spotlighted in the most recent edition of The Data Fellow Voice Bi-weekly Newsletter.
The newsletter is produced by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
In the full-page spotlight, Gordon chronicles her first year in her new role with CISD. She tells her story of choosing a vendor (Qualtrics), absorbing information, building quality tools for her district, and now transitioning into a natural next step – teaching others how to build their own data-driven dashboards and analytic tools.
“It was all worth it in the end to be able to put together a dashboard that truly can impact our district and our children,” Gordon said in the newsletter. “I now building more dashboards for our district, training principals and teachers, and beginning to push Qualtrics out to other departments.”

Casey Gordon ha pasado de no saber lo que era un tablero de datos a ser una experta en datos y, ahora, se dedica a compartir sus conocimientos sobre datos con las multitudes, todo en el plazo de un año.
