Led by regional champion Laikahs Kelly, Corsicana High School has three Lady Tigers lifters headed to state Saturday in Frisco. Kelly finished first in the 259 pound-plus division.
Leslee Jones finished third at the regional meet in the 259 division, and Sara Lopez was fifth in the 154 class. All three advanced.
Kelly had a total of 1,130 pounds in the three lifts, bench, squat and dead lift. Jones had a total of 960.
The state meet is scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday, March 18, at the Comerica Center.
