Does your student have a yearning for learning and adventure in those dogged days of summer? Corsicana ISD has two summer camps lined up that just may be the solution to that summer boredom that sets in between school years.
Students can attend both camps. Camp Curiosity is returning June 26-29 at Corsicana Middle School, and this year the second installment will include Tiger Cub Camp for a younger crowd.
New this year will be Jump Start, which will run for three weeks after the week of July 4. The half-day camp offers an extended day option, and kids with perfect attendance will get to enjoy a field trip to Kidzania.
Space will be limited in each, and Camp Curiosity hopefuls will attend one camp field, but will need to select a first and second choice. Parents will need their student’s ID number to register them.

Camp Curiosity and Tiger Cub Camp
When: June 26-29
Ages (three groups): TCC, current K-2nd; current 3rd-5th; current 6th-9th.
Cost: Free
Subject matter: arts, STEM, floral, culinary, theatre/dance, photography/videography

Jump Start
When: July 10-28
Ages: Incoming 1st-5th
Cost: Morning half day, free; afternoon extended day, $25 a week
Subject matter: math, reading, other activities, special guests

¿Su estudiante tiene un anhelo de aprendizaje y aventura en esos largos días de verano? Corsicana ISD tiene dos campamentos de verano programados que pueden ser la solución a ese aburrimiento de verano que se presenta entre los años escolares.
Los estudiantes pueden asistir a ambos campamentos. Camp Curiosity regresará del 26 al 29 de junio en la Secundaria de Corsicana, y este año incluye el Campamento Tiger Cub para los más pequeños.
