Sam Houston Receives Tech Grant
Sam Houston Elementary Receives Technology Grant
Corsicana ISD’s Sam Houston Elementary Dual Language Campus receives $10,000 for devices that will help transform classrooms into digital learning communities. The grant will enhance student achievement through real world applications and hand-on learning that caters to each student's individual needs. Providing more electronic devices to deliver applications, such as Flipgrid, will help teachers begin the process of flipping classrooms into globally connected learning labs, allowing students to have opportunities to practice listening and speaking skills in multiple languages.
The grant, written by Brandi Moore the Multimedia Specialist at Sam Houston, is made possible through the Education Service Center (ESC) Region 12 Technology Foundation. These technology grants are provided to support educational technology programs.
