2024 CHS Homecoming king Israel Cornejo and queen Elsa Sanchez

Corsicana High School senior Elisa Sanchez was named Homecoming Queen tonight at halftime of the Tigers’ game with Crandall. Senior Israel Cornejo was named Corsicana High School Homecoming King during the Pep Rally.

Generous community members help Navarro Elementary get new mascot

Navarro Elementary School recently debuted a new mascot costume to high-five students in the hallways and stir up school spirit. Donna Marrs, mother of first year Principal Lauren Weaver, said she first saw the old mascot during this year’s Meet the Teacher event looking worse for wear.
