  • Texas State Champion

    Wyatt Ware

Wyatt Ware is the 2024 SkillsUSA Texas State Champion in Diesel Equipment Technology. With over 6,500 members in attendance at the SkillsUSA Texas State Leadership and Skills Conference, Wyatt, representing Corsicana ISD, received the gold medal and earned his place in the competition in Atlanta, Georgia, at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in June. What an amazing accomplishment for this young man. Not only did he win a medal in Diesel Equipment Technology, but he also won the Marine Service Technology medal. Wyatt received the silver medal for placing second in Marine Service Technology.

It must run in the family because Kash Ware placed second in Construction Materials Identification in his first year of competition. Competing against students from all across the state is no easy task, but Kash rose to the occasion.

As the SkillsUSA motto states, “Preparing for Leadership in the World of Work.” This encompasses what career and technical education is all about.
Congratulations to the advisers and students. #CTEWorks
