It's a Great Day to Learn Something New!!

My name is Alice Owen and I love teaching 2nd grade.  I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2001.  I have two children, Bailey and Brody Dobbs, Bailey is a sophomore at Corsicana High School and Brody is a 6th grader at Collins. They are both very involved with sports.  I also have a step-son, Jackson Owen.  He lives in Waco and spends most of the summer with us in Corsicana.  My husband, Brandon Owen, is a varsity football coach in Mildred.  I've taught kinder, first, second, and fourth grade, but second is my absolute favorite!  This is my seventeenth year as a teacher and the majority of those years have been in second.  Some of my favorite things to do are working in my yard, decorating my house and my yard, and watching my kids play softball and baseball.
