This is my fourth year teaching at Corsicana High School, and I am so very excited to continue to teach, learn, and grow alongside my students. I grew up is West Texas, and I attended school there. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas with a major in History and minor in English. From there I worked in the construction field as a project manager before earning my teaching certificate. Though my title is teacher, I hold myself to be a lifelong student: I always seek more knowledge and the opportunity to share it. I am also a practitioner of Historical European Martial Arts, which combines my love of history with my passion for physical activity and competition.
