My name is Tana Sharp, and this is my second year at Navarro Elementary. I grew up in Waco, Texas and attended McLennan Community College and Baylor University, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and kindergarten.  I have lived in Corsicana more than 30 years, and it is now home. I have been a public school teacher for 23 years, so most of my service has been here in this community. The majority of those years were spent in kindergarten, which is my first love.  I enjoy seeing light bulbs turn on in little minds. 

I have a grown daughter, Larisa, who is attending Angelo State University, and a son, Joel, who is enrolled in hyper flex classes at Tarleton State University.  When I am not busy with school work, I enjoy gardening, spending time with friends and family, walking at the park, and just being outside.
