Meet mother and son Margaret and Cameron Cutrer, and Margaret’s sister-in-law Hollye Usery.
Margaret is the seventh grade counselor at Corsicana Middle School, Cameron is Turning Points Lead at Corsicana High School, and Hollye is Principal of Bowie Elementary. All Corsicana High School graduates, they have 40 years combined experience at CISD.
“An advantage to working with family is that it brings about another level of closeness that would otherwise not be there,” Margaret said.
Hollye enjoys the time off together.
“Having the same time off gives us the opportunity to have family celebrations or mini vacations,” she said.
Cameron likes seeing his family during working hours, something many people do not experience on the job.
“The challenge is not stopping to hang out with them when we see each other,” he joked.

Margaret es la consejera de séptimo grado en la Escuela Secundaria Corsicana, Cameron es líder de Turning Points en la Preparatoria Corsicana y Hollye es directora de la primaria Bowie. Todos graduados de la Preparatoria Corsicana, tienen 40 años de experiencia combinada en CISD.
“Una ventaja de trabajar con la familia es que genera otro nivel de cercanía que de otro modo no existiría”, dijo Margaret.
Hollye disfruta del tiempo libre juntas.
“Tener el mismo tiempo libre nos da la oportunidad de tener celebraciones familiares o mini vacaciones”, afirmó.
A Cameron le gusta ver a su familia durante las horas de trabajo, algo que muchas personas no experimentan en el trabajo.
“El reto es no parar para pasar el rato con ellos cuando nos vemos”, bromeó.
