Produce a TV Show

  • Produce a TV Show

Students will create their own TV show, while applying academic and problem solving skills, including design, creativity, imagination, research, and collaboration that filter into real-world situations. The activity focuses on pushing students to use multiple skills and move through a process (that they might not be familiar with) to create something that many of us take for granted….watching TV shows.

This project allows students to examine how the use of design elements effects the quality and success of a video game. The students will move from the early developments of taking an idea and turning it into a video game using coding and creative thinking skills. The students will research older video games and create a timeline to show how the quality of video games has advanced over time. The students will build a robot and practice writing codes to make the robot move through obstacles and / or complete a task.
