My name is Petrina Johnson. I was born and raised in Corsicana, Texas. I am the mother of three amazing girls ~Tahrea, Derica and Trinity. After graduation, in 1993, I began my studies for education at Navarro Jr. College. In 1995, I moved to Tyler, Texas to continue my journey in becoming an educator. In 1999, I graduated from University Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. Thereafter, I moved to Houston, Texas and began my teaching career. I have been teaching for the past 18 years. In 2005, I decided to take another educational journey of entering the classroom as a student, and I received my Master of Arts in Organizational Management. My philosophy is to teach with the end in mind. It is my endeavor to inspire, inform and instruct our students so that they may become productive citizens and lifelong learners.
