Hello! Welcome to my little corner of the internet! I am glad you stopped by.

While this is only my second year teaching at Sam Houston, I have been teaching for ten years. I have taught first through fourth grades in bilingual classrooms. I will be teaching English language arts and reading this year, but since I speak Spanish I can support my English learners in their native language.

I grew up in the Dallas metroplex and moved to Corsicana a couple of years ago with my husband. We are really enjoying Corsicana! We enjoy lots of outdoor activities - so if you don't find me reading, you'll find me outside with our animals, gardening, camping, horseback riding... the list goes on!
