    COMMUNICATION

We are really wanting to keep the communication lines open.  You are always able to email us at nparker-mazoch@cisd.org and srwise@cisd.org. You can also call the front office and leave a message for eithr one of us at 903-874-8281.  You are also able to write a note and send it in your child’s folder or with your child.  You may go to the Drane Learning Center website to learn more about our classroom.

    FOLDERS

We will send home a folder with work, flyers and any other information daily.  Please make sure to intital the sheet that is in the folder so we know you have received the information.

    Drop off and Pick up

Your student is in a classroom that allows you to have a special drop off and pick up location.  Our location for drop off will be in the back of the school at the wheelchair ramp. Drop off is from 7:30am to 7:50am.   IF you are unable to get your child to school on time, you will need to come into the building and sign your child in.

We will start releasing your child at 3:20pm in the same location.  There will be staff there to hand you your child safely.  Please make every effort to arrive on time and before 3:45pm to pick up your child. At 3:45 if they are still at school, you will need to come inside the building and go to the School office in order to pick up your child.

    ABSENCES

If your child is absent, you will need to send a doctor’s note or a handwritten note that states that you would like your child’s absence excused.  If a note is not sent this will be an unexcused absence.  If your child has to many unexcused absences, you will be contacted to speak with administration.

Thank you for the opportunity to work with your child!!!  Remember I will always have their best interest in my mind at all times.
