I would like to introduce myself as a Kindergarten teacher at Sam Houston Elementary. I’m Mrs. Maribil Burton and I am at your service to answer any questions you may have in regards to your child’s work and conduct at school. I would like to work together so that we may achieve the maximum development of your child’s abilities this year. Please feel free to come to me with any questions or concerns. I will put forth my best effort to exceed your expectations.

I was born in Venezuela and have lived in the USA, Venezuela, Curacao, Panama and Spain. I have a degree in Business Administration and Education. I taught English as a Foreign Language for 12 years in Venezuela and Spain. This is my sixth year teaching in Texas. My first two years were in Dallas ISD as a bilingual 1st grade and Kindergarten teacher. This will be my fifth year teaching in Corsicana ISD. Aside from being a teacher, I am a wife and mother of twin boy and girl. I know how valuable children are to parents and you can rest assured that I will give my all for you to feel comfortable and confident allowing us to guide your child in their education.

I truly feel extremely lucky to have your child in my class and work as a team with you and other Kindergarten teachers so that your child may have the optimal learning experience this year.

Por medio de la presente, permítanme presentarme como una maestra de Kindergarten en Sam Houston Elementary. Soy la Sra. Burton y estoy a sus órdenes para cualquier pregunta relacionada con el desempeño, desarrollo y conducta de su hijo(a) en la escuela. Me gustaría que trabajemos juntos para alcanzar el máximo desarrollo posible de las habilidades de su pequeño(a) durante este año: por favor tengan la confianza de acercarse a mí con cualquier duda o comentario. Hare mi mejor esfuerzo por exceder sus expectativas.

Me gustaría hacerles saber que nací en Venezuela y he vivido en EEUU, Curazao, Panamá, Venezuela y España. Soy licenciada en Administración de Empresas y me desempeñe como docente de inglés como idioma extranjero por 12 años en Venezuela y España. Este es mi sexto año como docente en Texas. Mis primeros dos años fueron en Dallas ISD como maestra de 1er grado y Kindergarten. Este será mi quinto año en Corsicana ISD. Además de ser docente, soy esposa y madre de mellizos, un niño y una niña. Se lo valioso que son los hijos para los padres y pueden tener la certeza de que pondré todo de mi parte para que ustedes estén conformes y seguros, permitiéndonos guiar a su hijo(a) en el ámbito escolar.

Por favor, cualquier duda, pregunta o cualquier otra cosa, estoy disponible y no duden en buscarme. Realmente me siento extremadamente afortunada de tener a su hijo(a) en mi clase y trabajar en equipo tanto con ustedes como con las otras maestras de Kindergarten.
