Hello, my name is Mrs. Hollingsworth and I am so excited about this school year. I am ready to get to know all of our new students here at Sam Houston. This is my seventh year teaching here at Sam Houston and I couldn't be happier to be here. I was a paraprofessional for Ennis ISD for the 7 years prior to teaching here, so I have been in education for several years now.I have been married to my wonderful husband Ronnie for 25 years and we have two beautiful daughters. Natalie is my oldest and is 18. She is on her second year at Tarleton State University where she is in the Honors College studying Criminal Justice. My youngest daughter is Anna and she is 16. She is a Junior here in Corsicana. I am very proud of both of my girls and all of their hard work in and out of school. We have six dogs, two cats, several fish, a turtle and a hedgehog at our house, so there is never a dull moment. I love spending time outdoors, I love to read and just spend time with family and friends.
I grew up in a family of educators and was not sure that I wanted to do the same, but after many years of searching for “the perfect” job I found out that Education was where I needed to be. I started working as a paraprofessional and then decided to go back to school and get my teaching certification and could not be happier. Now here I am ready to start the next chapter of my life and it will be with you all here.
