Corsicana ISD is a public school district serving approximately 6,000 students with a workforce of 900 employees. Corsicana is the largest city in Navarro County with a population of about 24,000. Corsicana ISD includes nine campuses – a learning center, five elementary schools, one intermediate school, one middle school and one high school. In the Fall of 2017, CISD opened a newly constructed middle school for grades 7 and 8.
The Superintendent for Corsicana ISD is Dr. Diane Frost. She has led the district since 2010. In 2015, the district went through a strategic planning process to develop a five-year plan called VISION 2020.
