You’re invited! Come one and all to the first-ever Celebrando (celebrating) Hispanic Heritage Month con (with) Corsicana ISD. Enjoy great music, food, arts & crafts, and parents vs. students soccer games, plus much more as CISD celebrates our growing LatinX community.
The event is scheduled for 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30 outside of Corsicana Middle School. Sponsors are being sought for the event as plans continue to be solidified to have a memorable celebration. Hispanic Heritage Month runs Sept. 15-Oct. 15.
In addition to authentic food and music, vendors will be on hand, there will be prizes given away through games like Loteria (Mexican bingo), and sugar skull and crown decorating will be offered.
Basic automotive services like oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments will be offered by the Corsicana High School Automotive Technology Department. To request automobile services, do so here: https://forms.office.com/r/LkieV2fkDv.

The Celebrando event is sponsored by Community National Bank & Trust, Brinson Auto Group, Texas Tires, United Rentals, and McKee Lumber Company, and many community-based businesses have donated prizes for Loteria.

¡Estás invitado! Vengan todos y cada uno al primer evento hispano llamado Celebrando el Mes de la Herencia Hispana con Corsicana ISD. Disfrute de excelente música, comida, artes y artesanías y juegos de fútbol entre padres (anotese abajo) y estudiantes, y mucho más mientras CISD celebra nuestra comunidad LatinX.
El evento está programado de 5:30 a 8 p.m. Viernes, 30 de septiembre fuera de la Escuela Secundaria de Corsicana. Se buscan patrocinadores para el evento a medida que se siguen solidificando los planes para tener una celebración memorable. El Mes de la Herencia Hispana se extiende del 15 de septiembre a el 15 de octubre.
Además de comida y música auténticas, habrá vendedores disponibles, se entregarán premios a través de juegos como Loteria (bingo Mexicano) y se ofrecerá decoración de calaveras.
