Backed by a no-hitter and a 1-hitter, the Tigers baseball team won a pair of big early season games over the weekend. They defeated South Grand Prairie, 5-0, and Mansfield Lake Ridge, 1-0, on Friday. 

In the morning game, Brydan Hernandez tossed a complete-game 1-hitter against SGP and struck out nine. The Tigers had only four hits but took advantage of seven walks. In the afternoon game, Ryan Ainsowrth no-hit Lake Ridge, striking out three and walking three while going the distance. 

Jace Richardson went 2-for-3 in the 1-0 win and drove in Dylan Anderton for the game’s only run. Richardson collected three hits in the two games, while Adrian Baston had a pair.

Respaldado por un juego sin hits y uno de un hit, el equipo de béisbol de los Tigres ganó un par de grandes juegos de principios de temporada durante el fin de semana. Derrotaron a South Grand Prairie, 5-0, y Mansfield Lake Ridge, 1-0, el viernes. 

En el juego de la mañana, Brydan Hernández lanzó un juego completo de 1 hit contra SGP y ponchó a nueve bateadores. Los Tigres solo tuvieron cuatro hits pero aprovecharon siete bases por bolas. En el juego de la tarde, Ryan Ainsowrth no-hit en Lake Ridge, ponchando a tres bateadores y caminando a tres mientras lanzaba las siete entradas. 

Jace Richardson acertó 2 de 3 en el plato en la victoria por 1-0 y bateó a Dylan Anderton para la única carrera del juego. Richardson recolectó tres hits en los dos juegos, mientras que Adrian Baston tuvo un par.
