Meet husband and wife JP and Amy Johnson and JP’s daughter Claire. JP is the College, Career, and Military Readiness Administrator, Amy is the Gear Up Coordinator, and Claire is an Assistant Volleyball and Powerlifting Coach. All three have been "Coach Johnson” at one time as Amy coached cheer for six years, and JP is also the assistant golf coach.
“I’ve had three parents work for CISD for many years, so I have big shoes to fill,” Claire said. “I’m grateful for the impact they’ve made and example they set for me in the district.”
Amy said it is nice to be able to help each other when needed, whether it is grabbing lunch or making copies.
“The only disadvantage is the teenager of the family does not think it is too cool that we are all here with him,” Amy said.
Her son Jackson McMatch is a sophomore at Corsicana High School.

“He tenido tres familiares que han trabajado para CISD durante muchos años, así que tengo grandes zapatos que llenar”, dijo Claire. “Estoy agradecida por el impacto que han tenido y el ejemplo que me han dado en el distrito”.
Amy dijo que es bueno poder ayudarse mutuamente cuando sea necesario, ya sea para ir por el almuerzo o hacer copias.
“La única desventaja es que el adolescente de la familia no cree que sea genial que todos estemos aquí con él”, dijo Amy.
Su hijo Jackson McMatch es estudiante de segundo año en la Preparatoria Corsicana.
