Meet sisters Meredith Boyde and Stephanie Howell. Boyde is the Digital Learning Coach and Howell is the Deputy Superintendent for CISD. Both are Corsicana High School alumni, Boyde class of ‘97 and Howell class of ‘94.
They earned their bachelor's degrees, graduated together from Texas A&M Commerce in 2005, and started as paraprofessionals at Carroll Elementary before moving into teaching roles in fall of 2006.
Boyde said she and her sister have different strengths and weaknesses but working together allows them to leverage their skills and expertise, making them a stronger team.
“She has always been the boss of me, so it all works out,” Boyde joked.
“I can volunteer Meredith for anything," Howell quipped. “She is always willing to help where needed.”

Conozca a las hermanas Meredith Boyde y Stephanie Howell. Boyde es la Entrenadora de Aprendizaje Digital y Howell es la Superintendente Adjunta de CISD. Ambas son graduadas de la Preparatoria Corsicana, Boyde de la clase del 97 y Howell de la clase del 94.
Obtuvieron sus títulos de licenciatura, se graduaron juntas de Texas A&M Commerce en 2005 y comenzaron como asistentes docentes en la Escuela Primaria Carroll antes de asumir funciones docentes en el otoño de 2006.
Boyde dijo que ella y su hermana tienen diferentes fortalezas y debilidades, pero trabajar juntas les permite aprovechar sus habilidades y experiencia, lo que los convierte en un equipo más fuerte.
"Ella siempre ha sido mi jefa, así que todo sale bien", bromea Boyde.
"Puedo ofrecer a Meredith como voluntaria para cualquier cosa", bromea Howell. "Ella siempre está dispuesta a ayudar cuando sea necesario".
