Meet married couple Tanya and Raymond Linex. Tanya is a Dyslexia Therapist and has been with Corsicana ISD since 2015. Raymond joined the District in 2022 and is the Executive Director of Communications.
The couple has been married 33 years and has three adult sons who live out of state in Longmont, Colo. (just north of Denver), Raleigh, N.C., and Orlando, Fla. Two of them are married, but no grandchildren so far.
“Having Raymond work in the District has been a blessing,” said Tanya, who spends most of her day at Navarro Elementary, but ends it at CHS. “He understands the challenges of the job and supports me when I need it. He might consider that a challenge!”
The two like to travel to visit their children during school breaks, with Colorado being their favorite landing spot.
“I told her when I came aboard we were going to find out how much we love each other,” joked Raymond, who works during summer. “We certainly see a lot more of each other now that our vacations align, but we have really enjoyed it.”

“Tener a Raymond trabajando en el Distrito ha sido una bendición”, dijo Tanya, quien pasa la mayor parte del día en la Primaria Navarro, pero lo termina en CHS. “Él comprende los desafíos del trabajo y me apoya cuando lo necesito. ¡Puede que él lo considere un desafío!
A los dos les gusta viajar para visitar a sus hijos durante las vacaciones escolares, siendo Colorado su lugar de aterrizaje favorito.
“Le dije que cuando me incorporara íbamos a descubrir lo mucho que nos queremos", bromea Raymond, que trabaja durante el verano. "Ciertamente nos vemos mucho más ahora que nuestras vacaciones se alinean, pero realmente lo hemos disfrutado".
