Corsicana ISD’s Board of Trustees approved new assignments for the 2024-’25 school during Monday’s board meeting. The recommendations by Superintendent Stephanie Howell mean new principals at some campuses.
The changes include:
Scott Doring, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Leadership. Doring has been the principal at Corsicana High School the last three years;
Shade Boulware, Chief Facilities & Operations Officer. Boulware is currently the assistant Superintendent of Leadership Recruitment and Development;
Austin Contreras, Chief Technology Officer. Contreras is returning to CISD after a year in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, where he served as Director of Network Operations;
Tiffany Farmer, Executive Director of Elementary Curriculum and Instruction. Farmer has been the Principal at Fannin Elementary the past three years;
Kelly Harle, Executive Director of Secondary Education and Instruction. Harle is in her first year with CISD, serving as the Director of Curriculum;
JP Johnson, Director of CCMR & Student Services. He currently serves as Director of CCMR/CTE;
Aaron Tidwell, Principal, Corsicana High School. New to CISD this spring, he spent 10 years as Principal at Mildred High School;
Tiffany Boortz, Principal, Collins Intermediate School. Boortz has been an Associate Principal at CHS the past two years.
Howell has replaced Dr. Diane Frost, who is retiring in June after 14 years at CISD. As well, Assistant Superintendent of Maintenance and Operations Mike Nielsen is retiring.
“Change often leads to more change, and fortunately we have strong leaders in place throughout the District ready to step into significant roles,” Howell said. “We added Aaron Tidwell from another district, but he is a CHS graduate and brings a wealth of experience back to our Tiger family and understands Corsicana values.”
In addition, Navarro Elementary will have a new principal after Brittany Mathis was appointed as Elementary Principal in another district.

La Junta Directiva de Corsicana ISD aprobó nuevas asignaciones para la escuela 2024-25 durante la reunión de la junta directiva del lunes. Las recomendaciones de la superintendente Stephanie Howell significan nuevos directores en algunas escuelas.
Los cambios incluyen:
Scott Doring, Superintendente Adjunto de Recursos Humanos y Liderazgo. Doring ha sido director de la Preparatoria Corsicana los últimos tres años;
Shade Boulware, Director de instalaciones y operaciones. Boulware es actualmente el Superintendente Adjunto de Reclutamiento y Desarrollo de Liderazgo;
Austin Contreras, Director de tecnología. Contreras regresa a CISD después de un año en Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, donde se desempeñó como Director de Operaciones de Red;

Aaron Tidwell, Director de la Preparatoria Corsicana. Nuevo en CISD esta primavera, pasó 10 años como Director en la Preparatoria Mildred High;
Tiffany Boortz, Directora, Escuela Intermedia Collins. Boortz ha sido Directora Asociada en CHS los últimos dos años.
Howell reemplazó a la Dra. Diane Frost, quien se jubilará en junio después de 14 años en CISD. Además, el Superintendente Adjunto de Mantenimiento y Operaciones, Mike Nielsen, se jubilará.
“El cambio a menudo conduce a más cambios y, afortunadamente, contamos con líderes fuertes en todo el Distrito listos para asumir funciones importantes”, dijo Howell. “Agregamos a Aaron Tidwell de otro distrito, pero él es un graduado de CHS y aporta una gran experiencia a nuestra familia Tiger y comprende los valores de Corsicana”.
Además, la Primaria Navarro tendrá una nueva directora después de que Brittany Mathis fuera nombrada directora de primaria en otro distrito.
