    CAREER & TECHNICAL EDUCATION

    Care of Equipment

    1. Take care of our equipment. Do not do anything that could cause harm or break any piece of equipment. Students are not allowed to plug-in any personal devices to the computer.
    2. Internet is not allowed without specific per use permission from teacher.
    3. Do not key anything into your files that is inappropriate or not school related. This especially includes pictures, game, music and video files. Those file types take up huge amounts of storage space on our server and prevent the storage room needed for legitimate school files. Spot checks will be made and files found will be deleted without notification to student.
    4. When on the Internet, students are not allowed to download any file. Downloading makes us susceptible to infection that can lead to damage of software and/or hardware.
    5. Social networking sites are prohibited.
    6. Music and Video sites are prohibited without permission.
    7. Access by proxy use is prohibited.
    8. Food and drinks are NEVER allowed in the computer lab.

The restroom/clinic passes may not be used during the first or last 15 minutes of class or during lecture.  Students may only go to the restroom/clinic during independent coursework time. If a student goes to the restroom and is gone for more than 6 minutes they will forfeit all other restroom/clinic passes for the remainder of the year. If a student needs to go to the restroom/clinic more frequently, an email/pass from the school nurse must be given to Mrs. Nelson prior to the additional need.
