• Pre-AP Pre-Calculus

In PAPC, we will continue to learn about functions as in Algebra II and explore Trigonometry.  The goal of this course is to get students ready for College Algebra and/or AP Calculus.  This is rigorous course and will mainly focus on the 'why's' of math and doing algebra without a calculator.  Each unit will have homework assignments that will be handed out at the beginning of the Unit and will be due on the day of the test.  The homework counts as a portion of the test grade so make sure that work gets turned in on time.

Students have access to all materials done in class on their OneDrive account provided by CISD including notes, handouts, power-points, reviews, etc.

To access your OneDrive account, please follow these steps:

    • Go to CISD homepage and select the OneDrive icon (cloud)
    • Login using your student email address & computer password
    • Click the waffle (grid) at the top left hand side and select OneNote
    • Click "shared with me" and select your class period PAPC notebook.
    • Look for your name on the left hand side.
    • You may use your notebook in the brower or launch the desktop app.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at arichter2@cisd.org or call CHS at 903-874-8211.

In Canvas, I will provide a video for each lesson.  There will also be a link for a blank copy of notes if you would like to use that.  Our OneNote class notebook will have the blank papers as well.

Upon completion of the lesson video, you will complete an online assignment through canvas for a grade.  There will be a paper assignment option available if you prefer.  Once you do that, you can turn it in at the meal distribution at the High School on Monday's or Thursday's.
