I have a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. I also have minors in Computer Science and Spanish. I am fluent in Spanish. I am married and have one daughter. Before becoming a teacher, I spent almost seven years living in Belize, serving as an FM radio DJ. I also have traveled to various countries around the world including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Jamaica, and all of Central America down to and including Nicaragua. In 1996, I had the privilege of serving in a low-risk security position at the Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia.

Before moving to Corsicana, I lived ten years in Eagle Pass, Texas, southwest of San Antonio on the river with Mexico.
