Since technology is a big part of our ever-changing world, it will also play an important role in our classroom. However, cell phones, laptops and tablets are not to be used in class, unless first approved by Mrs. White. Technology can serve as a great tool in education, but it also serves as a distraction from learning and the overall class experience when limitations are not put in place. If a student is caught with his/her cell phone at any time without Mrs. White’s approval, the discipline policy will be followed.
Remind is a classroom tool that I use in order to make announcements and send out important reminders, such as assignment due dates, and upcoming quizzes or exams. Students may sign up by texting @gdc27 to 81010.
